The Munro MultiSett is a
fence post setting machine that was introduced in 1963 and has evolved through
conscientious engineering into the world’s simplest to operate,
most durable, and, yet, powerful post-setting machine. The MultiSett
requires only a 30 HP tractor or medium-sized skidsteer loader to
transport and power the machine.
The
most important feature of the Munro machines is their hydraulic
pilot-hole digger that drills a pilot hole directly below the solid-steel
driver, so digging and driving are done with one
machine from one setup. Four-way hydraulic tilting provides fast,
effortless alignment on hillsides and uneven ground.
The
MultiSett is fabricated for 3-point tractor
hookup and for hydraulic power from the tractor remotes (about 10 gpm at
2,200 psi). However, the machine mounting is readily adapted to
SideShift, skidsteer loader, front-end loader, truck, trailer, or crawler
mounting, and the hydraulic power can be set up for PTO or self-contained
hydraulics.
Augers can be changed easily, so the pilot-hole diameter can be matched to post
size, post type, and ground conditions
